This Forest School is tailored to children aged 8-12 who want to engage in more focused outdoor activities with their own peer group. With an emphasis on bushcraft and musical fun, these sessions offer weekly crafts and skill development, as well as Forest School games and freeplay adventures.
Having put Forest School on the map in Ennis over the last 9 years, Veronica is now bringing Forest School back to her home town of Tulla. Veronica and her husband Michael will collaborate to offer Forest School sessions that foster both nature-connection and musical play to older children aged 8-12 years. Sessions will take place entirely out of doors, beneath the trees in their own magical woodland, Willow Hill, just north of Tulla.
Activities offered include:
~ Making bushcraft musical instruments.
~ Fun with instruments, rhythm and song.
~ Fire-lighting skills.
~ Cooking on an outdoor fire.
