For 7 Saturdays over 8 weeks in May & June, children are encouraged to explore the natural environment, make discoveries, be creative and have fun outdoors! A woodland community is set up where each child’s voice is heard and the individual is valued.
Veronica is an experienced and caring forest school practitioner. She has been offering children opportunities for supported risky play for over 8 years, making her a confident and calm leader. Activities are planned from week to week guided by observations of the group’s varied interests and needs.
Veronica is delighted to be collaborating again with Lisa Macleod of Young Roots Forest School to deliver this term of woodland fun and adventure.

Time: Saturday AFTERNOONS 2:00pm – 4:30pm
Dates: 3rd May – 21st June (7 Saturdays) There will be no Forest School on Sat 7th June as we will be attending the Irish Forest School Association AGM on that day.
Cost: €175 for 7 weeks.
There is a reduced cost of €150 for siblings, which equates to one free session.
Group size: Max 13 children.

Badger & Blackbird Forest School is run by 2 qualified and experienced Forest School leaders.
Group size is kept small, allowing children freedom and choice in how they play and learn.
A woodland community is set up, ensuring that all feel safe and cared-for.
Opportunities for supported risk-taking are offered.
